While unemployment is improving slightly, you’d be hard pressed to find someone saying that there are lots of job opportunities out there. So a word of advice for the young and college going crowd: stay focused in finding a good major before getting into the job market.
Also for the more experienced folks out there, it would be a good time to retool and tack on a master’s degree. 54% of people report they changed careers because they were downsized. If that affects you, be certain if you return to college you choose a major that is in demand!
