Vegetable Garden Design Inspiration

It’s spring planting time and that means it’s time to plan and prepare our vegetable gardens. I’ve been putting together a new veggie garden at my new home, and I’ve purchased my seeds and starter plants and am in the process of building raised beds.

I have to build raised beds because the soil here isn’t ideal for growing much other than the native trees. But I’m sure I’m not the only one here facing problems with vegetable garden design. If you’re struggling with anything from wild animals that like to eat your garden to a lack of space for planting, you might enjoy this photostream. It features a variety of vegetable garden designs that could spark solution ideas for you (from raised bed ideas to plant cages for protection).
